Final evaluation

My design and assessment for my partner
Antonelas work for my design was quite good as well. She managed to fulfill my idea for the hair, except the curls in the front. We did not practice enough on my design, due to that circumstance she could not made exactly what I wanted.
Finally, I think that we were a good team. We attended in all lectures and done much practice on each other. Cooperation was easy and I would be happy to work with her again in the future.

The assessment

I think the design looks nice and I made it nicely and tidy. I was the first one who finished the whole hairstyle. I am happy and I hope to get a good grade.

Diagonal Bow braid
I saw this braid somewhere before and I really wanted to learned to do it. So I took my dolls head and I practiced on it, First of all I made a simple french plait and I left spare part of hear next to french plait. Then I took the pin and inserted into the plaits twist. I took a small part of hair from that section and reinserted through that hairpin and made the ribbon. I left the end of hair above the french plait. So I repeated all that until the french plaits end. And here is my work.

Wiggle plait and backcombing
This time we learned wiggle plait, which looks really nice and it is very easy to do. First of all you have to plait simple plait and in the end of the plait hold one of three parts of hair and push it up. That is how you make it. Here is the picture of my work in the class.
Backcombing is very easy. You just need to take one section of the hair and gently brush hair down until you can build the hair up. Do not make a mess and try do not damage the hair. After you finished photoshoot or whatever you did, you must nicely brush clients hair before washing it. It will be easier to wash and you will not damage the hair.

Elizabethans hairstyle using padding, curling and frizzing techniques
I used all techniques (padding, curling and frizzing). In these pictures you can see my work step by step.
I tried to make a ''heart'' shape, but I think I made the left side a little bit bigger, because I crimped more hear. Otherwise it looks quite nice and symmetrical. This time I did not curled hair with curler. I used another technique with hairpins and straightener.
This is my final look. I love this curling technique, because it comes out really nice curls. By the way I did not use any hairspray. But when I will make my assessment final look I will use it. Then I will hide all bristling hair.

Padding, curling and frizzing techniques
We learned how to make Elizabethans hairstyle using padding, curling and frizzing techniques. First of all I took a section of hair from the front and curled them. After each curl I put a clip on in that it would hold until the curl gets cold.

Then I took another section of hair and crimped them.
I took third section of hair and plaited a french plait.
Both sides.
I have got hand made pad (nylon sock stuffed with paper). And I fastened it with clips on plaits.
Then I took crimped hair and covered the pad.
Finally I took all curls and nicely spread them on the top of frizzed hair attaching clips. And here we go- nice and splendid hairstyle.
